Job summary

Cross Country Allied seeks a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The EP tech will support complex cardiac electrophysiology and ablation procedures, operate Cardo Micropace units, and contribute to patient care in a Level I trauma center within an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with pacemaker/defibrillator insertions, arrhythmia management, equipment setup, and patient monitoring.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT Radiology certification required.
• Experience in electrophysiology procedures and cardiac ablations.
• Documentation system proficiency and device management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support EP procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator insertions, arrhythmia management, equipment setup, and patient monitoring.
• Operate Cardo Micropace units and assist with mapping devices.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist in other cardiac cases when volume allows.
