Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Endoscopy Travel Nurse (RN) for immediate placement in Midlothian, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and Endoscopy expertise to assist in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care.

Travel RNs should be capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining a safe, compliant Endoscopy environment. ACLS/BLS certifications are required; additional certifications may be needed prior to assignment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Endoscopy nursing experience and knowledge of endoscopy procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy unit and support physicians and team before, during, and after procedures.
• Offer technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures with safe practice.
