Job summary

TotalMed in Maple Grove, MN is seeking an Endoscopy RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You will provide nursing care in the Endoscopy unit, supporting physicians and the medical team before, during and after procedures.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 40-hour weeks, days shift; travel role with tax-free stipend details to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• Endoscopy knowledge and ability to assist during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy Unit, following policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures.
• Assist in care and maintenance of endoscopes and equipment with proper decontamination and traceability records.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment within the clinical area per standards and regulations.
