Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) NurseLocation: [Location] This role involves providing critical emergency care in a busy ER setting, managing a wide range of acute conditions including cardiac, gastrointestinal, psychiatric, COPD, and respiratory illnesses. The position requires overseeing patient care for approximately 70-95 patients per day within a 19-bed unit featuring three trauma bays.

Job Details

• Position Description: 19-bed ER unit with 3 trauma bays, managing various urgent and emergent conditions.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, PALS, TNCC; minimum experience of 2 years; licensed to submit; BSN preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts7p-7awith a minimum of 48 hours per week; shifts rotate every other weekend and include holiday coverage on an A & B rotation.
• Additional Information: The unit has a separate triage area, psychological/seclusion rooms, and in-house security. ER RN's manage their own holds, and team members perform phlebotomy and breathing treatments. RT staff conducts ABG's and breathing treatments. The unit utilizes Allscripts as the charting system.
