Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong expertise in neuro and cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, managing a ratio of 4 patients to 1 nurse.
• Perform emergency procedures such as STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSI.
• Collaborate with a team of 5-6 RNs and support staff including ER Technicians and Unit Secretaries on night shifts.
• Utilize an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are preferred.
