Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ seeks a Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment. Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 3x12s. Willing to float and start within 2 weeks of offer. Onsite contract with competitive pay.

Requirements include 2+ years in ER, AZ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and Cerner EMR experience. Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: BLS, ACLS, PALS, AZ License.
• 2+ years of ED nursing experience preferred.
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care using NursingProcess and Hospital policy.
• Demonstrate leadership and critical thinking in patient care delivery.

Shift - DAYS 7AM - 7:30PM (3x12s) **Will Consider 48-hr. Guarantee**

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
