Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. Night shift, 7PM – 7:30AM, 3 days per week. Competitive weekly pay of $2,286–$2,322 and stipends included.

Must start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance and be willing to float. Requirements include AZ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and Cerner EMR experience preferred. Trach/Level III trauma and STEMI alerts may be encountered; strong critical thinking and teamwork are

Qualifications

• Must have AZ RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred; ability to float as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in safe patient care delivery.
• Maintain competencies through continuing education and staff supervision as needed.

Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Travel - Emergency Department Registered Nurse 13 weeks Tucson , AZ Shift - NIGHTS 7PM - 7:30AM (3x12s) **Will Consider 48-hr. Guarantee*

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
