Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist.
Must hold relevant certifications and state licensing when required.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for long periods.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Responsibilities
Assist physicians with cath lab procedures and cardiac diagnosis.
Maintain ongoing communication with patients for comfort and safety.
Monitor ECG for abnormalities and report urgent rhythms to the physician.
Document procedures accurately using lab-specific documentation.
