Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab in New Jersey. Requires cath lab experience with NJ licensed Radiologic Technologist and BLS/ACLS; RCIS preferred. The role includes 4x9.5-hour shifts, on-call coverage, and potential travel to sister hospitals.

Epic charting is used for documentation. The candidate will assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI procedures, and interventional radiology, while ensuring patient safety and accurate hemodynamic data

Qualifications

RCIS certification preferred; active NJ license is required
BLS and ACLS certification required
IABP experience required
Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
Licensed Radiologic Technologist with NJ license
Epic charting experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
4x9.5-hour AM shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 4 days per week
On-call required for weekend STEMI coverage, approximately 1-2 times per weekend
May float to sister hospital as needed
Uses Epic for charting
Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI procedures, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data
Provide procedural assistance to physicians pre, intra, and post procedure
Assess and manage access sites and communicate findings to physicians
Adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab
Prepare patients for procedures
Accepts local candidates
Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date
