Job summary
Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Electrophysiology Lab in Des Moines, IA. You will work four 10-hour days, with shifts starting at 6 or 7 AM, and no call or weekend requirements.
The role requires EP Lab experience, Iowa license (or multi-state), ACLS/BLS, and EPIC CUPID EMR familiarity. Travel and rotation across regional sites may be required in winter.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of EP/EP/IR nursing experience.
- Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Experience with EPIC CUPID EMR preferred.
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Electrophysiology Lab (EP). This position will involve working four 10-hour shifts, starting at either 6 AM or 7 AM. The role includes no call or weekend requirements.
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Electrophysiology Lab.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and assist with procedures in the EP lab.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-op care.
- Float to other locations as necessary within the region.
- Minimum of 24 months of current experience in Electrophysiology/EP, Cardiac Cath/CCL, or Interventional Radiology/IR.
- Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate nursing license.
- ACLS certification from AHA or ARC.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
- Experience with EPIC CUPID electronic medical record system is preferred.
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus.
The selected candidate will be required to work during 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
