Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Field Service Electronics Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and test SEL products at customer sites and in the Mobile Product Hospital team based in Lewiston, ID. You will work with engineers to identify root causes and ensure product quality.

The role involves traveling up to 75%, performing high-complexity electronics work, and sharing knowledge with colleagues. We value hands-on lab skills and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• A two-year electronics engineering technology degree or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital, and microprocessor-based electronics.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.
• Enjoy working in an electronics lab environment.
• Enjoy solving complex problems with your team.

Responsibilities

• Test, repair, and troubleshoot high-complexity problems to the component level.
• Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and products to ensure product quality.
• Provide basic troubleshooting training to junior department personnel.
• Partner with other divisions to satisfy the needs of our customers.
