Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist for a day shift in the Cardiology/Neurology Lab. The role requires NATUS EEG equipment experience and ABRET EEG technologist certification, along with BLS and CPI.

Position involves EEG/EP testing, ECGs, and related diagnostics in a hospital setting. On-call duties include weekends and evenings; Cerner is used for charting, with potential for flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred.
• NATUS EEG equipment experience required.
• Certified EEG Technologist (ABRET), BLS, and CPI required.
• License required if applicable.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Cerner charting system experience required.
• Experience with adult ICU, adult inpatient, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings.

Responsibilities

• EEG Tech unit within the Cardiology/Neurology Lab.
• Performs EEG and evoked potential (EP) testing for diagnostic purposes.
• Also performs electrocardiograms and other diagnostic testing.
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• On-call required every other weekend and 3 weekday evenings per week.
• May float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Uses Cerner charting system.
• Responsible for diagnostic testing to support brain disorder diagnosis.
• Facility enforces a strict no-call policy.
• Open to discussing block scheduling arrangements.
