Job Title: EEG Technician / Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Location: Santa Barbara, California

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Call Requirement: Yes

Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced EEG procedures including sleep EEGs and seizure studies
• Conduct electrode placement and monitor patient responses during procedures
• Perform sleep deprived EEG testing and long-term monitoring as needed
• Provide care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Troubleshoot EEG equipment and ensure quality testing standards
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for evenings, nights, and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of EEG/Neurodiagnostic experience required
• Active R. EEG T. (ABRET) certification required at time of submission — hard stop requirement
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Additional certifications preferred:
  • CLTM
  • R. EP T.
  • R. NCS T.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
• ICU and NICU experience preferred
• Strong understanding of neurodiagnostic testing procedures and patient monitoring
