Job summary

Condé Nast Traveler is seeking an Associate Editor based in New York to lead editorial across print and digital platforms, with a focus on the print magazine and flagship franchises such as the Hot List and Gold List. This role reports to the Global Features Director and involves producing and shaping content across multiple formats.

You will collaborate with editors across CNT’s seven markets, write or edit several stories weekly, and support major features and tentpole packages.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of experience in print and digital media, travel/style/pop culture background preferred but not essential.
• Excellent reporting, editing and researching skills.
• Familiarity with content management systems and digital tools.
• Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative storytelling across media platforms; ability to collaborate across local and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, edit and manage rubrics and story types in the print magazine front of book, including trend pieces and Q&As.
• Write or edit 2–3 digital stories per week.
• Support top editors on large features and production.
• Co-lead major packages and tentpole moments like the Gold List and Hot List.
• Manage organizational documents and help build out editorial moments across seven markets.
• Support editors across CNT’s seven markets on global editorial moments.
