Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Emergency Department RN for night shifts in Portland, OR. This travel assignment requires ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and at least 2 years of ED experience.

The role includes 12-hour night shifts, 3 of 5 major holidays, and working within a Level II Trauma Center environment with Epic EMR charting. Housing assistance and travel reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact preferred) with current state RN registration.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required; NIHSS and TNCC preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience; first-time travelers with 3+ years considered.
• Epic EMR experience required; strong adult/pediatric emergency care skills.

Responsibilities

• Treat combined adult/pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center ED.
• Night shift: three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; every other weekend.
• Manage triage, cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and dysrhythmia care.
• Float to other units as needed; chart with Epic; no on-call duties.
• Deliver acute care including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and psych cases.
