ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in La Plata, Maryland. This 13-week contract involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30).

Every other weekend and holidays are required as scheduled. The role requires 1–2 years of ED nursing experience, an active MD or compact-state RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS/CPI certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and diagnoses.
• Epic charting system familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ED patients.
• Monitor patients with a variety of medical conditions.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as prescribed.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes per hospital policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and act swiftly in critical situations.
• Float within the department as staffing requires.

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Manage and monitor patients experiencing a variety of medical conditions.
• Perform necessary medical procedures and administer medications as prescribed.

• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
