Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience using Meditech and possess strong patient experience skills to ensure the best outcomes for patients in a 37-bed trauma unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Meditech.
• Respond to emergency situations and prioritize patient needs effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Experience in an emergency department setting; Meditech experience required.

Pay Information

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
