Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel ED Registered Nurse for Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment requires you to cover Days and Nights, overseeing ED operations, staffing, and patient flow to maintain high-quality care.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in good standing and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with at least 1 year of ED experience in an acute care hospital.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.
• PALS (AHA) required.
• Minimum 1 year as a staff nurse in an acute care ED setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts; ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness; coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
• R rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.

Pay: up to $497–$689 gross pay per shift; equivalent to $41.44– $57.43 per hour.

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $41.44 to $57.43. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
