Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking an Echocardiographer in Manning, SC to perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms in the Radiology department. The role requires at least 1 year of experience and a current BLS certification, with license if applicable.

Proficiency with Doppler and imaging techniques is essential. The position operates Monday through Friday, 08:00–16:30, with no call and no weekend work, and offers benefits including housing allowance and licensure

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echocardiographer.
• Current BLS certification (AHA only).
• License required if applicable.
• Primary source verification and copy of state-specific license/certificate required.
• Proficiency performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
• Skilled in Doppler and imaging techniques for measuring cardiac structures and assessing heart function.
• Experience administering contrast agents and agitated saline.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department serving both inpatients and outpatients.
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and Epic EMR.
• Monday through Friday schedule, 08:00-16:30.
• No call and no weekend requirements.
• Position and adjust equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Analyze ultrasound data and provide preliminary findings to physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques.
