Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Smithfield, NC. The role involves performing Echo and vascular studies, preparing patients, and collaborating with a clinical team to ensure high-quality imaging.

The ideal candidate has a completed Ultrasound Technology program, at least 1 year of recent experience, and valid BLS and state ultrasound license.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technology program completed.
• Minimum one year of recent ultrasound experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terms.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans.
• Position patients and prepare for accurate imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations and interpret images.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper documentation and records.
