Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Smithfield, NC. Focus on Echo/Vascular imaging, with responsibilities including patient preparation, image acquisition, and preliminary interpretation to support diagnostic decisions.

The role requires an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least one year of experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program is required.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology knowledge.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patients for accurate imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Perform diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
