Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) specializing in Echo and Vascular for a 13-week travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. You will perform ultrasound exams, prep patients, and collaborate with clinical teams to support diagnostic imaging.

Requires completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, 1 year of recent ultrasound experience, BLS, and valid state licensure. Preferred ARDMS/CCI/ARRT credentials.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and prioritize comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
