Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Newton, Massachusetts. The role involves performing Echo and Vascular ultrasound exams, preparing patients, and delivering diagnostic images for multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and a current BLS certification. ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license per state regulations.
• Preferred ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound scans and analyze sonograms for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and comfort.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and accuracy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory standards.
