Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) specialized in Echo/Vascular for a 13-week travel assignment in Northampton, MA. The role involves image generation, patient prep, and collaboration with clinical teams to support diagnostic accuracy.

Requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program, at least one year of experience, and active BLS. Preferred ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials and state licensure adherence are valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates critical thinking and effective communication.
• English language literacy is required (read, write, speak).
• Able to handle physical demands of ultrasound procedures.
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program is required.
• ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials are preferred.
• Licensure as a licensed Ultrasound Technologist per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations and echocardiography studies.
• Prepare and position patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans.
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure safety standards.
• Document findings accurately in patient records.
