Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking an Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Denver, CO. The role focuses on cardiac imaging in a hospital setting, performing echocardiography studies with a focus on quality and patient comfort.

The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), totaling ~40 hours per week. RDCS or RCS credentials, BLS, and strong communication are required to ensure accurate imaging and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential.
• Active BLS certification.
• No experience required; 2 yrs preferred.
• On-site work four 10-hour days weekly.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound per protocols.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Obtain high-quality cardiac images for interpretation.
• Document findings accurately.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely.
• Collaborate with radiology/cardiology team.
• Follow infection-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography per established protocols.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to promote cooperation.
• Obtain high-quality images and measurements for interpretation.
• Review studies for completeness and document findings.
