Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist in Billings, MT for a 11-week assignment in a Non-Invasive Cardiology unit. The role requires RDCS or RCS certification and comfort with pediatric and neonatal echocardiograms. 4x10 hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with Epic EMR experience.
The position offers travel benefits, housing stipends, medical/dental insurance, and 401(k) matching. Start date 11/15/2026; travel employment type.
Qualifications
- RDCS or RCS certification required.
- Active license required if applicable and must not expire prior to start date.
- AHA certifications required and must not expire prior to start date.
- Minimum 1 year experience in echocardiography required.
- Epic EMR experience required.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction.
- Prepare exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and gather accurate clinical history.
- Review patient history and position patients for exams.
- Evaluate tests for quality and completeness with high-quality images.
- Document patient information and ensure effective hand-off between shifts.
- Monitor equipment reliability and safety and maintain supplies.
