GHR Healthcare is seeking an Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Denver, CO. The role focuses on cardiac imaging in a hospital setting, performing echocardiography studies with a focus on quality and patient comfort.

The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), totaling ~40 hours per week. RDCS or RCS credentials, BLS, and strong communication are required to ensure accurate imaging and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential.
• Active BLS certification.
• No experience required; 2 yrs preferred.
• On-site work four 10-hour days weekly.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound per protocols.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Obtain high-quality cardiac images for interpretation.
• Document findings accurately.

Join a hospital-based cardiac imaging team as an Echo Technologist in Denver, Colorado. This 13-week travel healthcare contract is ideal for a Cardiac Sonographer or Echocardiography Technologist who delivers high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative clinical environment. Echo Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490–$2,670
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based radiology and ultrasonography department
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday
• Shift Time: 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Start Date: November 15, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekend, Holiday, and On-Call Requirements: None

Cardiac Sonographer Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential through CCI
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• No prior experience required; two years of cardiac sonography or echocardiography experience is preferred
• Ability to work on-site and complete four 10-hour day shifts each week
• Strong communication, patient-care, and clinical documentation skills
• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography examinations according to established protocols
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and promote comfort and cooperation throughout examinations
• Obtain high-quality cardiac images and measurements for provider interpretation
• Review echocardiography studies for completeness and accurately document examination findings and patient information
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with radiology, cardiology, and other members of the healthcare team to support timely patient care
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and departmental procedures
