Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist in Oklahoma City, OK for a 13-week assignment. The role covers 40 hours per week with a 10-hour daytime shift.

The traveler will work under supervision in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab, performing 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies and preparing preliminary interpretations. The position emphasizes credentialing support, patient preparation, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Accredited training in cardiac technology is required.
• Accredited training in cardiac ultrasound is required.
• Ability to interpret studies to support preliminary interpretations.
• Graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and perform 2D echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies.
• Provide preliminary interpretation of studies.
• Maintain accurate records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, and staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read, interpret, and follow physicians' orders and procedures.
