MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, MA. The role is 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts under non-invasive cardiology supervision.

The ideal candidate will have completed accredited cardiac technology and echocardiography training and will be able to interpret studies with accuracy. Travel settings offer housing support and benefit from a strong support network.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Graduation from a cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform all 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Follow physicians orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
