Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. The Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiography, ensure diagnostic quality, and educate patients throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities include Doppler and 3-D imaging, artifact correction, and collaboration with physicians and care teams. Travel benefits, licensure support, and comprehensive coverage are provided as part of the assignment.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent Echo Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography, including Doppler and 3-D imaging techniques.
• Maintain proficiency in operating echocardiography equipment and applying advanced imaging techniques for cardiac assessments.
• Review patient history and verify orders to ensure appropriate examinations are conducted.
• Educate patients and/or family members about the echocardiography procedures addressing questions.
• Identify, correct, and document imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced environments, maintaining professionalism.
• Follow directions from supervisors and comply with facility policies and standards.
• Perform other duties within the Cardiac Sonographer scope of practice.

Educación

Accredited Ultrasound Technology program

One year Echo Cardiovascular Technologist experience

Current BLS Certification

Ultrasound license per state regulations
