Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS RDCS (AE) and 2+ years of adult echocardiography experience to join our travel team.

This assignment requires day shifts 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, hospital-based in Mount Airy, NC, with potential to float within the facility. GE Vivid E95 equipment, Meditech RIS, Philips iSite PACS, and solid references are required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS RDCS (AE) certification required.
• 2+ years of adult echocardiograms experience required.
• Two professional references related to adult echocardiogram performance required.
• References must be within 2 years and from a supervisor or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients.
• Handle approximately 8–12 patients per day.
• Operate GE Vivid E95 – 4D Ultra Edition HDU v204.
• Utilize RIS: Meditech; PACS: Philips ISCV.
• Work day shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Travelers may float within the hospital as needed.
• Labs must be completed within 48–72 hours of contract signing.

Requirements

• ARDMS certification with RDCS (AE) credential required, if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing adult echocardiograms
• Two professional references related to adult echocardiogram performance required for consideration
• References must be completed within 2 years of the current date by a supervisor or someone in a supervisory capacity

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients
• Approximately 8-12 patients per day
• Uses GE Vivid E95 - 4D Ultra Edition HDU v204
• RIS: Meditech, PACS: Philips iSite, Cardiology Viewing/Reporting: Philips ISCV
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Travelers expected to float within the hospital as needed
• Candidates with background history may be considered
• Facility requests completion of required labs within 48-72 hours of contract signing to ensure timely clearance for start
• Previous staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months and remain in good standing to be eligible for return
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no set mileage restriction
