Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting as an Echo Tech
- Pediatric echocardiography experience required
- BLS and RCS certification required
- ARDMS certification preferred
- Prior Meditech experience preferred

- Perform adult echocardiograms (inpatient/outpatient) and transesophageal studies
- Conduct bubble studies and Definity contrast studies
- Complete structured procedure reporting
- Maintain strong teamwork and patient-centered communication

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with acute care and pediatric echocardiography experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
- EKG/Cardio Pulmonary unit in a 272-bed hospital
- 4 Cardiac Sonographers on staff
- Uses GE E95 and Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment
- EMR: Meditech and CCW
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Rotating weekend and on-call coverage required, including 2 nights of call per week
- Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting as an Echo Tech
- Pediatric echocardiography experience required
- BLS and RCS certification required
- ARDMS certification preferred
- Prior Meditech experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Perform adult echocardiograms (portable inpatient and outpatient), transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, and Definity contrast studies
- Complete structured reporting on all procedures performed
- Must be flexible, a strong team player, and patient-focused with good communication skills with staff and providers
- Black or hospital-provided scrubs required
