The echocardiography team performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations on adults and geriatrics, with focus on 2D/3D imaging, Doppler, contrast, TEE, and stress studies. Shifts are days, 40 hours per week, with weekly pay up to $2,556. Start date November 23, 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Echo Technologist experience.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• ARDMS RDCS (Adult Echocardiography) or CCI RCS credential.
• Meditech charting experience required.
• Experience with 2D/3D echocardiograms, color Doppler, and TEE.

Responsibilities

Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer – Mount Airy, NC | Up to $2,556/Week | Days.

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in Mount Airy, North Carolina.

Position Overview:

The Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations to evaluate cardiac anatomy, function, blood flow, and abnormalities.

This position requires proficiency in adult echocardiography, Doppler imaging, stress echocardiography, and advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures. The technologist will perform examinations for adult and geriatric patients in inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and intensive care settings.

The ideal candidate is experienced with portable echocardiography, contrast imaging, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and cardiac measurements, while maintaining high standards of image quality and patient safety.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Mount Airy, NC.


• Weekly Pay: Up to $2,556.


• Start Date: November 23, 2026.


• Duration: 13 weeks.


• Schedule: Days, 5×8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–4:00 PM).


• Hours: 40 hours per week.


• Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Imaging / Echocardiography.


• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer experience.

• Experience performing bubble studies and contrast-enhanced echocardiography.


• Ability to perform portable cardiac ultrasound examinations in ICU and emergency department settings.


• Familiarity with GE and Philips ultrasound equipment.
