Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Mount Airy, North Carolina. The position requires minimum 1 year of acute care experience, travel experience, and proficiency with Meditech and PACS.

You will perform 2-D/3-D Echo, TEE, bubble studies, and color Doppler in ICU/ED settings using GE and Philips systems. The assignment is a 13-week travel contract with day shifts (07:00–16:00), no call, no weekends, and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care environment.
• Traveler experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
• Community hospital experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Meditech and PACS systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, including 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Conduct specialized studies such as Bubble Studies, Color Doppler, and Pharmacologic Stress Echo.
• Execute routine echocardiographic examinations in ICU/ED settings, adhering to established protocols and patient safety standards.
• Utilize GE and Philips imaging systems alongside Meditech documentation and PACS.
• Maintain proper isolation precautions and utilize appropriate PPE during procedures.
