MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a contract in Oklahoma City, OK. The 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour days and requires proficiency in 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of studies.
• Maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians orders and written instructions.
