Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Naples, Florida. The role involves performing 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies under physician supervision in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab, and preparing preliminary interpretations and records for review.

The ideal candidate has accredited training in cardiac technology and cardiac ultrasound, with strong interpretation skills and familiarity across echocardiography platforms.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited training in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of accredited training in cardiac ultrasound.
• Ability to interpret studies to support preliminary interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain patient echo study records.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read, interpret, and follow physician orders and protocols.
