MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Tallahassee, Florida. This assignment is for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour days shift, and travel involvement is required.

The candidate should have completed accredited cardiac technology and cardiac ultrasound programs, with the ability to interpret echo findings and support the cardiology team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of studies.
• Maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians' orders and procedures.
