Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Macon, Georgia. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification, with state licensing as required. You will operate the cardiac ultrasound machine, acquire studies, and collaborate with physicians.

Shifts are 10 hours days, 40 hours per week, with a travel schedule and a tax-free stipend. This position offers weekly pay and benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification and any required state licensing.
• Must have knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality images for interpretation.
• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms as required.
• Maintain patient records and equipment; report issues to the physician.
