Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Macon, Georgia. You will work 4x10-hour days in a Level trauma setting, handling noninvasive echocardiography for adult and pediatric patients, including TEE and bubble studies.

The role requires 2+ years acute care echo experience, ARDMS RDCS/RDMS, BLS, and EPIC EMR proficiency. On-site shifts; on-call coverage and holidays as per contract.

Qualifications

• BLS certification and ARDMS-RDCS or RDMS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care echo experience
• Minimum 12 months core work experience in the specialty area
• Comfortable performing pediatric echo scans
• Experience with EPIC EMR and documenting preliminary findings
• Active license required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and TEEs, and assist with structural heart procedures
• Support pediatric and adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Document preliminary findings for cardiologists
• Work with EPIC EMR and PACS systems to manage images and reports
• Coordinate with nursing and cardiology teams for on-call coverage (as required)
