Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The Echo Tech will perform echocardiography procedures, educate patients, and ensure quality imaging under physician guidance.

Requirements include 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification, with state licensing as needed. The role involves 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, in a travel capacity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Current BLS certification and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS license.
• Ability to stand for long hours and perform echocardiography procedures.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Perform quality Doppler and color Doppler echocardiography.
• Acquire quality stress echo and dobutamine images as directed.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms per physician expectations.
• Maintain equipment and patient records; use PACS.
