Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks an Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. You will perform echocardiograms, Doppler studies, and stress echo, ensuring quality imaging and accurate reporting to physicians. Requires 1 year of experience, ARDMS or CCI certification, and BLS.

Travel with weekly pay and benefits are available through TotalMed Allied. The role involves patient education, equipment maintenance, and documentation in PACS.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Echo tech experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARDMS RDCS or CCI RS certification and state licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cardiac ultrasound machine and ensure high-quality images.
• Prepare patients for echocardiograms and provide patient education.
• Perform Doppler and color Doppler exams with accuracy.
• Acquire stress echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as directed.
• Report findings to the interpreting physician in a timely manner.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper maintenance per department procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use the PACS system.
