Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer for a Noninvasive Cardiology unit in the Boston area. Certification in RDCS/RCS and CPR are required, with 2+ years of registered echocardiography experience.

The role includes four 10-hour shifts, use of Epic for charting, and the ability to work independently with strong technical judgment. Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston may qualify for a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years current experience as a registered echocardiography sonographer.
• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• CPR certification required (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography.
• Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Noninvasive Cardiology department
• 4x10 hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Uses Epic for charting
• Perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies
• Ability to work independently and function unsupervised with sound technical judgment
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
