Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer to perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic imaging. RDCS or CCI certification and an Associate's Degree in Ultrasound are required.

Responsibilities include echocardiograms, TEEs, stress echoes, and assisting with Watchman procedures in a hospital-based lab. Will provide pediatric echo coverage and coordinate patient flow across shifts, with weekend and on-call duties as described.

Qualifications

• RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification is required.
• License may be required where applicable.
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound is required.
• Minimum of 3 years healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient and inpatient echocardiograms, TEEs, and stress echocardiograms.
• Assist with Watchman procedures.
• Provide pediatric echo coverage in an office setting.
• Oversee technical procedures, patient care, and workflow in the echo lab.
• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic imaging following guidelines.
• Review and document patient data for accuracy and completeness.
• Cross-train across divisions of Cardiovascular Services.
• Maintain quality metrics for pediatric and adult accreditation.
• Train and educate echo students.
