TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a travel assignment in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Echo Tech will perform echocardiograms, Doppler studies, and related imaging with patient care and data management responsibilities.

Requirements include 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS, and state licensing as needed. The role includes 40 hours/week, 8-hour days, and a 13-week duration. Travel benefits and 401k-like options may apply.

Qualificações

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a travel job in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

We are looking for an Echocardiogram Technologist (Echo Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Saint Paul, MN. The right Echo Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As an Echo Tech, you will be responsible for the use of the cardiac ultrasound machine and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. Echo Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing echocardiograms.

Tasks

As an Echo Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographic studies
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to Physician and benchmark standards
• Perform quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study
• Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure and identifying problems with equipment and reporting appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS National Certification and state-specific licensing when required.

Echo Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Echo Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Requirements*:

BLS, ARDMS (RDMS AE), CCI (RCIS), ARDMS (RDCS), 1 Year

* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
