American Traveler is seeking a Travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. The role requires RDCS/ARDMS, RCS/CCI, or RVT certification and 2+ years of cardiovascular ultrasound experience. You will cover a 5x8 days shift with 40 hours per week, averaging 6-8 studies daily in a hospital cardiology department.

On-call and weekend coverage every 5th week are required, with possible temp-to-perm opportunities. BLS is required; prior CHRISTUS experience helpful.

Qualifikationen

• RDCS (ARDMS), RCS (CCI) or RVT certification required; RVS candidates must have 2+ years of echo experience.
• BLS certification via AHA required.
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular ultrasound and non-invasive procedures; training in non-invasive cardiology preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform echocardiograms, cardiac Doppler and color flow mapping for inpatients and outpatients.
• Utilize contrast agents per ACC and ASE guidelines.
• Assist with TEE and stress echocardiograms.
• Perform pediatric echocardiograms as needed.
• Complete documentation, charges and preliminary echo reports.
• Maintain infection control and high-level disinfection of equipment.
• May fulfill Cardiovascular Tech duties when needed.
• Scrub color: galaxy blue or royal blue.
• Temp-to-perm opportunity may exist.
• Returning CHRISTUS employees require 6-month separation before new travel assignment.
