Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a Travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. The role involves performing non-invasive cardiovascular studies under direct supervision, with 40 hours per week and a standard 8-hour daytime shift.

The candidate must have two years of CV ultrasound experience and hold RDCS/RCS/RVT credentials, or ARDMS/CCI equivalent. AHA BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in cardiovascular ultrasound and non-invasive procedures.
• Must hold one of RDCS, RCS, or ARDMS/CCI eligible credentials.
• Current BLS certification via AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and related tests following policy and physician orders.
• Ensure patient comfort using AIDET and accurate test results communication.
• Maintain infection control and equipment disinfection protocols.
• Document procedures, charges, and prep for next day schedule.
• Participate in call rotation to provide 24/7 echocardiography coverage.
