Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in Temple, Texas. This Echo Tech role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification with state licensing as required.

Responsibilities include performing echocardiograms, maintaining equipment, and educating patients. The position offers a travel assignment with 40 hours per week, days shift, and tax-free stipend subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Echo experience required.
• BLS and national certification (ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS) and state licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality images.
• Prepare patients for echocardiograms and provide care during procedures.
• Educate patients and families about procedures performed.
• Demonstrate competence in echocardiographic studies and Doppler/Color Doppler exams.
• Record findings and report to the reading physician for interpretation.
