Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Medford, Oregon. The Echo Tech will operate cardiac ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images, and prepare patients for echocardiograms while coordinating with physicians for timely interpretation.

Responsibilities include staff education, Doppler exams, stress echo imaging, and transesophageal studies, with documentation and equipment maintenance. Travel and shift details are determined by assignment needs.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of Echo Tech experience.
• Must have BLS certification.
• ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification and state licensing when required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and understand cardiac anatomy and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in performing echocardiographic studies.
• Perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms per physician expectations.
• Report findings to reading physician for interpretation.
• Maintain patient records and equipment per department procedures.
