Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The Echo Tech will operate the cardiac ultrasound equipment, ensure image accuracy, and assist physicians with interpretation.

1 year of experience and required certifications ensure readiness for the travel opening. Responsibilities include patient education, performing Doppler and stress imaging, and maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Echo Technologist experience required.
• BLS certification required; ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification and state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in echocardiographic studies.
• Perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as required.
• Report findings to reading physician for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and sanitation per department procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
