Newsandtribune seeks an experienced echocardiography technologist to join an inpatient hospital setting. You will operate within the Echocardiography department for adult patients, handling Philips ultrasound equipment and charting with EPIC and Xcelera.

Expect an 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule, 40 hours weekly, with no on-call or weekend duties. Ideal candidates have RDCS certification, 18+ months Echo experience, 24+ months in echo tech roles, and hospital experience.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 18 months Echo experience.
• Minimum of 24 months Echocardiographer/Echo Tech experience for consideration.
• ARDMS (RDCS) certification required.
• Strong experience with Philips equipment required.
• EPIC and Xcelera charting experience required.
• Level II Trauma experience required; Level I preferred.
• Current or recent hospital experience preferred.
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Licensing required if applicable.

Aufgaben

• Work in the Echocardiography department within an inpatient hospital setting.
• Patient population ranges from 18 to 100+ years of age.
• Average caseload of 7 cases per day with potential for more or less depending on volume.
• Evening shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
• No call or weekend requirements.
• May float across Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist campuses as needed.
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment.
• Charts using EPIC and Xcelera systems.
• First-time travelers welcomed provided they have at least 24 months of experience.
• Unless the unit is closed, contractors are required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays.
• Scrubs required in gray, navy blue, or black solid tops and bottoms.
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Past UPH employees restricted from working travel assignments in another market within 12 months of separation.
